Content Writer Job Description:
As a Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business training manuals, company policies, and industry regulations to create precise and actionable content. Your ability to simplify complex language and transform long paragraphs into clear training lessons and work instructions will be essential.
To succeed in this role, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel is required. You must also excel in multitasking, thrive in a team-oriented environment, be a fast learner, self-motivated, and work productively with minimal supervision.
Functions and Duties:
- Condense written paragraphs into concise statements or lessons
- Transform lengthy training materials into easily consumable versions
- Maintain the original meaning and tone while reducing content
- Proofread texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy
- Input training manuals, policies, and procedures into our software platform as actionable missions
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, creative writing, or a related field
- Advanced written skills in English
- Excellent research skills in both literary and business domains
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Capacity to handle multiple writing projects simultaneously
Workspace Requirements:
- Ability to work remotely while on live camera with the office team
- High-quality desktop or laptop with a good microphone and video camera
- Reliable internet connection
Workdays:
Monday – Friday Time Range: 09:00 PST – 17:00 PST (18:00 – 02:00 SAST) Shift Duration: 8 hours Compensation: Competitive compensation in USD (Rates aligned with the South Africa market) Work Location: Remote
